Prepare to be dazzled by M.L.C.

by - January 12, 2010

American born and influenced by his family's collections of art and antiques, Matthew developed the impressive ability to produce artistic sculptures and other art even at a very young age. His ingenuity led him to an architecture scholarship at the Savannah College of Art and Design but he later transferred to Bellarmine University where he completed his studies in liberal arts, specializing in sculpture.
The birth of M.C.L by Matthew Campbell Laurenza came in 2007 when the designer returned to New York to reintroduce his designs. Since its debut, the fashion world has fallen head over heels for Matthew's characteristic bohemian-luxe jewelry creations.

Cocktails rings are encrusted with pave stones in vibrant colors. Intricately designed enamel bangles and earrings conjure up images of delicious jewels found in a pirate's treasure chest.

Indeed, Matthew Campbell's Fall/Winter '09 collection has dazzled us beyond imagination, with myriads of color tones, multicultural inspiration, big and various proportions that remind of architecture and a fantastic use of gems. It's a shame it hasn't caught our eyes sooner, but now that we know, we will keep an eye on this treasure. Yo-ho-ho..
