What is it about diamond studs?

Diamond studs are by far the most popular form of diamond earring around today. The issue of sales is nearly always a chicken and the egg question in terms of what causes it. Around the holiday season, the jewelry industry sees its biggest spike in sales, and diamond stud earrings are among the top in selling power.

Also, around holiday season, you’ll see diamond blog posts skyrocketing. As sales increase, the internet builds content envelopes around the money makers to promote them. And here comes the chicken and the egg problem. Is it the fact that there is so much diamond blogspot material about the subject leading to sales because google is cluttered with it so that’s what people find, or is it vice versa?

The two can generally be seen to create a positive feedback loop, one feeding into the other feeding into the next, until a new trend breaks through and breaks the cycle. At that point, you’ll see a new complex start to develop, beginning with sales and continuing with internet content. When a new trend is beginning, sales start picking up, and when  diamond blogs pick up the trend, the content starts spreading like a virus. Google gets saturated and sales go even higher. A new positive feedback loop ensues.

These loops used to last much longer before the internet. But now, with information being passed around so quickly, it may only take a year or two before a content/sales complex dies and gives birth to a new one. Businesses can only struggle to keep with the dizzying pace.
