This antique miniature is a hand painted brooch pendant surrounded by filigree. The painting appears is a depiction of the Virgin Mary. The pin is hallmarked 800 for the silver content and is gold electroplated over the silver designated with the hallmark 20 GE. This lovely cameo brooch miniature measures 1 3/8 inch by 1 1/8 inch and is circa 1930s.
